About Rachel

I’m a Leeds lass, born and bred…

Having grown up in Leeds and studied my law degree in Leeds, I am very proud to have founded my business here, in this thriving and friendly city.

After finishing my legal practice course (LPC), I worked in a large commercial business specialising in employment law. Working my way through the ranks, I, became Head of Employment Law and led my own team of Employment Law specialists. During this time, I also completed a Masters Degree in Professional Legal Practice.

In 2020 the world of work changed. I saw a gap in the market, and a real need for a consultancy that mixed legal expertise with a people and HR focus. Somewhere that businesses of all sizes could turn to feel supported as they move their business forward and navigate the new business challenges. I wanted to continue my passion for employment law, but with a commercial and hands on approach – and with the full flexibility to offer a range of services to meet the needs of all business sizes and industries. It’s so important to me that businesses could access high quality advice and support. So, RT Advance Consulting was born!

Today, RT Advance Consulting is a small team, based in Thorpe Park, Leeds, advising businesses nationwide, from your local start up to well-known brands.

With access to a vast range of legal resources and working alongside specialist partners (including partners in Health and Safety, Mental Health, Employee Benefits and Occupational Health), RT Advance Consulting is fully equipped to support your business.
